Double Min Min light

The Min Min light is a night time phenomenon described as glowing spheres hovering or bouncing above the ground. These lights have been reported by many travellers, and truck drivers travelling through Kalkadoon country, and the story of the Min Min has been passed down by the Kalkadoon people for hundreds of years.
I personally have not come across anyone that can explain the phenomena of the Min Min lights, but Nan Domic suggested that it would not be wise to follow the Min Min…. My Nan was the first person to tell me about the Min Min when I was still a little kid. The first time I painted the Min Min light was for an exhibition in Warrington, U.K. Since then it has appeared in many of my paintings.
This particular painting was inspired by a discussion I had whilst on Kalkadoon Country about a place where you can sit and observe clusters of min min lights all in the same area.
My intent for my next visit to Kalkadoon Country is to go and experience that place.
