Every artwork begins with a conversation.

Puthut nyini.

In my Kalkatungu language, welcome. It's great to have you here.

For me, art has never been just about putting paint on canvas.

It has always been a way to share stories, create understanding and bring people together.

I'm a proud Kalkadoon descendant from north-west Queensland, although I only discovered that part of my identity at the age of 28. That discovery sparked a lifelong journey to reconnect with my ancestors, learn their stories, understand their symbols and deepen my connection to Country. Painting became part of that journey.

I was also incredibly fortunate to learn from my grandmother, Nan Domic, whose knowledge and guidance continue to influence the way I see the world and the stories I choose to tell.

Before becoming an artist, I spent many years as a professional rugby league player with the Brisbane Broncos, Penrith Panthers, Warrington Wolves, Hull FC and Wakefield Wildcats. The discipline, resilience and sense of community I learned through sport continue to shape the way I approach every project today.

Every piece I create is grounded in Country, culture and community. Some stories have been shared for thousands of years. Others are shaped through conversations with the people and organisations I work alongside. Every artwork begins by listening.

Over the years, my work has taken me into schools, community organisations, sporting clubs, businesses and public spaces across Australia. Whether I'm creating a mural, designing a jersey, speaking to a room full of people or painting in my studio, the purpose remains the same.

To create something that leaves people with a deeper connection than when they arrived.

I believe art has the power to start conversations that words alone sometimes cannot. It can build understanding, celebrate identity and help people see the stories held within the landscapes and communities around them.

Every commission is different because every story is different.

Thank you for taking the time to be here. I hope as you explore my work, you discover not only the artwork itself, but the stories, values and connections that brought each piece to life.

What guides my work

Story

Every artwork begins by understanding the story that needs to be told.

Country

Country is more than a place. It holds knowledge, memory and connection that continue to guide my work.

Community

The strongest artwork is created with people, not simply for people.

Legacy

I hope every piece leaves something behind. A conversation, a lesson or a new way of seeing the world.

Whether you're looking for an artwork, a speaker or a creative partner, I'd love to hear your story too.
